MS Word Custom Paper Sizes

You can select from a variety of properties to customize the size of your printed materials. There are four properties that you can change. They are called Alignment Margins, Base size, and Color. In addition, there is an additional property which is helpful if you plan on using multiple copies of the same document.

To open the Customized Paper Properties dialog box, press the right arrow button.(You might also find this button in your printer’s main menu.) You’ll see four options under Alignment: Center, Right Fit, Offset and Home. By choosing one of these options you can change the alignment of your customized paper to a different position on your printer.

For more information on custom paper sizes and how they affect the printing process, please go to «Printing» and then «Settings». In the bottom of the window, you will see a word that is referred to as » Population settings». This text will indicate the number people in your market you want to target will see your advertisement. Click on the appropriate number to change the settings. To alter the settings, enter the numbers and click the ok button.

Alignment – This is the center of the page. Microsoft Word is actually set to determine the location of your text based on your current window’s position. The numbers on the top left corner indicate the alignments you can use to customize your document. There are three alignment options: Home, Center, or Offset. To change your document’s alignments simply click on the appropriate number and change the setting to one that is closest to the one you want.

Drop-down lists: You can alter the color scheme for your customized sizes of paper by selecting the drop-down below the scale option. The list is comprised of solid and dotted colors. When you select one of the colors, the scale will automatically be adjusted to match the color you select. To alter the color scheme, click the color that you want and then click the OK button.

Two-Column AutoShaper: This allows you to fit your document in the perfect 2 column format using the autoShaper with two report paper columns. To do this, simply click on «semble» next to «flows». The «flows» tab has various useful functions including custom page size control including page centering, alignment tools, and justification. These tools can be accessed by clicking on the icons. To change the layouts, all you have to do is click on the «link» icon.

Preset Colors – On older printers, you might have to enter manually the desired color for each page. Newer printers let you choose a custom size paper from a selection of preset colors. To access the color palette, simply click «color» and you will get a list of colors. Click on the color you want to alter your color choices. Click the «backbutton» to go back to the color palette.

Changing the paper size setup in your printer driver must be simple and quick. These tips will show you how to access the settings and options that your printer driver provides. You can alter the paper information setting to make sure that your documents are of the correct size for your printer.

When you open the Print Server dialog box, you will see the following options: Current Paper Settings, which will display all the currently set custom paper sizes. Double-click «current paper size» to display the current selection of sizes, as well as their numbers in the range you desire. The number you select will determine the size that is the maximum or minimum of your document. Select the «stretch tab» and enter a number between 0 and 9.

Click «print» in the main menu to update your paper’s size information. You will see an update dialog box. Click » ok.» To modify the printer settings select «print» from the main menu, then click the print settings tab. You will see a brand new list of options.

You’ll have to open the Print Server dialog box again and click the «add button», enter the number between 1 and 9 and then click «ok.» Before you click the «apply» button you can change the values of the current setting. Within a matter seconds, you will see a list of custom sizes of paper and they will all be available for your document. If you find this to be too complicated or would prefer to save time and use only one document with different dimensions, then you can always choose «set number» and select the size that you prefer within the range you entered in the previous step.
